Helping Women Set-Up Home

This role requires you to collaborate with the community to make arrangements for women in need to accept household items and clothing. We will need you to liaise with other groups in social community service such as Relove, the Salvation Army and Lifeline to ensure sharing of donations made. By supporting the Women's Resilience Centre in this way you will be providing practical help that will make a significant difference to women in their everyday living.

Time allocation: This task requires 2-4 hours of your time each month, for as long as you are able to support.

Events Coordinator

This role will have you working with our Event’s Manager, the Women’s Resilience Centre Manager, to ensure a very smooth event is managed to the minute for our annual Reset The Dial Corporate Luncheon Friday 21st June, 12-3pm.

This role will require you to meet and plan for the event and will give you experience in the production of events as well as the chance to meet an incredible new community of women. On the day of the event you will help to coordinate all the moving parts to ensure it is a successful day.

Time allocation: Ideally, if you could donate 2 hours a week leading up to the event. On the day of the event we will need you for the full day to help set up and attend the 3hr event.

Office Cleaner

Assistance required with the cleaning of the Women's Resilience Centre on a weekly basis.

You would be helping with all cleaning; i.e. floors, kitchenette, furniture, water pants, office space and hard surfaces to ensure our centre stays clean for our free programs.

Time allocation: 1-2 hours per week

Grant and Foundation Research Support Volunteer


Work closely with the Compliance & Operations Manager to identify new opportunities for grant, applications and foundation applications. Keep an active eye on government portals, grant, portals and be regularly connected to philanthropic groups to identify relevant funding opportunities.

Social Media Assistant

Work with our marketing executive on social media plans. Proven track record in working on social media platforms.

Gala Bid Administrator for the Annual Corporate Luncheon "Reset the Dial" 2024

This role requires a diligent Gala Bid Administrator for the Annual Corporate Luncheon "Reset the Dial" 2024. As a crucial part of the event team, you'll report to our Event Project Manager and support the upload of prizes onto Gala Bid weekly, coordinating with Marketing. Responsibilities include ensuring all prizes are accurately loaded with set prices, uploading contact emails, setting up thank-you letters for donors post-event, and brainstorming prize ideas.

Time allocation: Tuesday 11 June 2024 (briefing) approx 90 min - Friday June 21 (Event). Sydney City, 9 am to 4 pm.  - Monday 24 and Tuesday 25 June.

Coordinator of Volunteers for the Annual Corporate Luncheon "Reset the Dial" 2024

This role requires you to serve as the Coordinator of Volunteers for the Annual Corporate Luncheon "Rest the Dial" 2024. You will participate in recruiting and briefing volunteers, assigning their roles accordingly. On the event day, you will oversee volunteers as they engage with guests, promote the charity auction, facilitate raffle ticket sales, and ensure guests enjoy the day. You will act as the event manager's primary contact for any issues, ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for all involved.

Time allocation: Tuesday 11 June 2024 (briefing) approx 90 min - Friday June 21 (Event). Sydney City, 9 am to 4 pm.  - Monday 24 and Tuesday 25 June.

Prize Collection Volunteer

This role will have you working alongside the Women's Resilience Centre to communicate with the corporate community to gain generous donations and prizes to help raise funds at our annual corporate event.

We will need you to be comfortable collaborating with volunteers to ensure all prizes are listed and contact information is stored correctly. This role is very rewarding as you will receive warm responses from the many businesses that have generously donated to us in the past.

Time allocation: This task requires as much time as you can give. We can never have too many items to auction as our annual luncheon is our biggest revenue raising event.

Corporate Social Impact Coordinator

This role requires you to contact a warm list of corporate clients and invite them to be further involved with the Women's Resilience Centre. If you have the gift of the gab, then this is the role for you.

We need your help to talk to them about our upcoming events and explain the ways in which they can get involved as a corporate sponsor. We also have corporate training programs to support and keep women safe in the workforce.

Time allocation: As much time as you can give.

EA Support to Program Leader

This role requires a friendly, professional and organised person that is willing to handle taking phone calls, emails and other forms of correspondence to screen or direct to the right place.

It also required good attention to detail for sorting, storing and retrieving physical and electronic documents, including creating and maintaining filing systems. You will get the chance to build and maintaining relationships with colleagues, clients, and

Social Impact Researcher

Research current Program Participant feedback and start to measure positive social impact on their lives. Create a system for regular quarterly review and reporting to the board on quality of life improvement for the women that we are supporting. Provide reports to the Board and for grant applications.

Time allocation: Min 3 hours a month, grateful for as much time as you can give.

Social Impact Lobbyist Support Volunteer

The Women’s Resilience Centre seeks a dedicated and experienced social impact lobbyist who will work with the Board to actively respond with political submissions as appropriate and relevant to improving the lives of women and their long term recovery from domestic violence, trauma and loss.

Ideally you will have a background in writing, political or corporate submissions and an interest in positive social impact.

Time allocation: As much time as you can give.

Blog Writer and Podcast Co-ordinator

Working with the centre manager, the program manager and the founder to create topics regularly for Podcasts. Experience required.

Team Leader F&B Annual Corporate Luncheon 2024 - Reset the Dial

This role requires a dynamic and organised individual to take on the position of Team Leader F&B for the Annual Corporate Luncheon "Reset the Dial" in 2024. Reporting to the Event Project Manager, the Team Leader F&B will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of food and beverage services during the event.
